I am now kitted out for Bonfire Night and beyond, courtesy of the underpaid staff and beleaguered child labourers of Primark.
Update: My other Primark knit jumper (not pictured - it's the same, but inverted colours) - gained me a compliment from a reveller at the Holyrood 9A pub on New Year's Eve. So it was entirely worth it!
I have been having a lot of fun with an app called LetterMpress, which is a virtual letterpress.
There aren't really any shortcuts; you have to arrange all the letters and secure them in place, just like the real thing. Then you pull the ink roller thing - okay, I haven't got all the terminology down yet - and, with a very satisfying sound, it prints your creation to an image file.

Here's my magnificent first creation. I'm not sure who I'd send it to.

Some bloke claims to be building a pyramid-shaped alien fuel station on Alcatraz Island in the States (you can read about it at the Huffington Post). Not a particularly interesting story, but the fantastically outsider art-y composite image (above) is a lot of fun.
